Hello, darlings! The thing that I love most about Fashion Week isn’t necessarily the new looks that storm the catwalk. Rather, it is the fabulous street style that comes alive in my hometown during this time of year. And though I’m sad that Fashion Week is over, I am certainly happy that I got a front row seat to see the most glamorous and eclectic fashions on my native New Yorkers!

Dressed to the nines as Marie Antoinette and Cleopatra, respectively, these ladies had a wonderful time with fashion

Adding a gilded twist to cool and crisp fashion, this lady captured the style spirit of New York perfectly

I’m not sure what pleases me more – the fact that this young lady is fearless with fashion or that she made her mark amongst the style masses

Soon after, I had the pleasure of meeting a lady who shares the same appreciation for color as I do. Quite a stunner in a periwinkle blue shirt and cherry red pants, she sizzled with typical New York sophistication

These young ladies each decided to show off a different take on the New York City uniform of basic black After coming across this lady, I recognized her as an epitome of the Off Broadway Boutique woman who dresses for the theatre of her life

Fashion Week also tends to inspire the best in casual street style, which I was fortunate to find in this young lady

Vintage style blends into the New York City canvas perfectly, which is why it was natural to see two lovely ladies attend Fashion Week in their forties-style finery

Finding a kindred spirit in jewel-toned style was a wonderful way to bid adieu to Fashion Week at Lincoln Center
One of the biggest misconceptions about fashion is the idea that it is something exclusive that can only be enjoyed by the elite. As you can see by the chic and fascinating people that I met during my time at Fashion Week, there is a collective love for fashion that makes up the fabric of New York’s originality. It is the same framework that I’ve presented and will continue to represent at Off Broadway Boutique for years to come.
