Still glowing from the fabulous feedback that we had received on Twitter, Facebook, and Fabulously 40 about Lynn Dell’s Chef Roblé & Co. episode, we were doubly pleased to hear from Martha Stewart Weddings’ Magazine. It turns out that their lovely associate beauty editor, Sarah Smith, came across the show and was inspired by Lynn and her husband, Sandy Cohen’s, beautiful love story enough to write a heartfelt blog article about the timeless couple. Monday, January 16th, 2012Ladies! Did you watch last night’s episode of Chef Roblé and Co. on Bravo? A very special episode of the show aired featuring Off Broadway Boutique’s very own, Lynn Dell, who was preparing to celebrate her 60th wedding anniversary to husband, Sanford Cohen.
With the big day quickly approaching, the pair wanted to celebrate with an exquisite party for all of their close friends and family members. Without hesitation, Lynn contacted the talented Chef Roblé Ali and his stylish sister, Jasmine, to cater and decorate her very special event.
Lynn’s unique sense of style and love for gourmet foods, combined with Sanford’s simple taste level, left Chef Roblé and his team with quite a challenge on their hands for their high-profile clients. Roblé and Jasmine put together a brilliant and glamorous party that represented the couple’s taste from the decorations to the three course meal that impressed all of the guests.
Chef Roble’s delicious cooking, alongside Jasmine’s creative eye for design, was able to create Lynn and Sandy’s dream 60th Anniversary party, and a memorable event for life. The grand ballroom was decorated with photos from Lynn and Sandy’s wedding day, while stunning mannequins were dressed in Lynn’s favorite Off Broadway Boutique pieces. We can’t forget about the mouth-watering three course meal that consisted of chilled pea soup with lobster bits, steak for the main course, and yummy cheesecake for dessert.
With every change of meal, Lynn changed outfits to keep her guests on the edge of their seats for what she’ll be wearing next and to represent the course being served, such as Off Broadway Boutique’s red silk jumpsuit being worn when steak was served.
Chef Roblé and his team made a lasting impression on Lynn and Sandy and all of their guests by catering such an important event. Lynn and Sanford highly recommend having Chef Roblé and his upbeat team to cater your next event!

Hello, everyone! Just in time for the holidays, Lynn Dell is reviving her acclaimed talk show, Positively Lynn, for everyone to enjoy! Originally airing on public television in the 90s, she hosted this fun and fabulous gabfest as a way to let women viewers in on her fashionable and exciting world. Whether this resulted in entertaining interviews with intriguing guests or glamorous fashion shows that showcased stunning style for women over 50, audiences were treated to a bird’s eye view of luxury.
Starting on Tuesday, December 20th, you will be able to relive some of Lynn’s most exciting moments when Positively Lynn airs again on New York local station, Manhattan Neighborhood Network. Every Tuesday morning at 8:30AM, viewers will join Lynn as she travels to destinations that vary from our very own Off Broadway Boutique to her then-home in the Hamptons, as well as exciting destinations such as the The Legendary Tavern on the Green, The original Plaza Hotel, Four Seasons, Florida, and Morocco.

We were blessed to have Chef Roblé cater Lynn’s 60th wedding anniversary to her beloved husband, Sandy Cohen, and are over the moon that we will be sharing this special moment on television. As a woman over 50 who is a vintage style aficionado, I was thrilled to be invited to one of the top fashion events of the year – the Manhattan Vintage Clothing Show. Taking place this past Friday, I had wonderful fun hobnobbing with the fabulous fashionistas while having my photo taken by many high-profile photographers and bloggers.

Being surrounded by such high-profile people as Ari Seth Cohen of Advanced Style and Bill Cunningham of The New York Times, while being chronicled by AOL, was as thrilling as New York Fashion Week. Needless to say, the process of attending this show is more exciting than the show itself.

The best part about this magical night was being complimented on my red vintage felt hat – a hat that I knew would be just right for this occasion from the first time that I laid eyes on it in the vintage reruns department of my boutique. Pairing it with my red suede boots and marvelous black cape completed my style for a woman over 50.
