Save the Date: Celebrate Life and Embrace Joy at Off Broadway Boutique’s Fashion Show

Hello, everyone!  When it comes to putting on a show, we at Off Broadway Boutique pride ourselves on putting on a memorable one that is filled with glitz, glamour, and gorgeousness.  After all, it’s only fair that we live up to the very saying that our Countess of Glamour, Lynn Dell, exemplifies – dressing for the theatre of one’s life.  That’s why we can say with the utmost of confidence that our upcoming fashion show is going to be an incredible affair!

Taking place this Wednesday at 7PM at Off Broadway Boutique, we will be collaborating with the Alloro Collection to feature some of our sensational fashions on full display.  We will be auctioning some of our famous pieces from fabulous designers such as Ronald Jackson while showcasing our favorite looks on some of today’s most stylish women.  In addition, we will also be showing outfits from the Alloro Fashion Collection while inviting everyone to participate in our elegant boutique and trunk show.

We strongly believe in making every woman look and feel as gorgeous as they are which is why 25% of the profits from this show will go towards helping those who are and have experienced breast cancer.  Not only will this go towards a very worthy cause, it’s a perfect way to inspire all women to find the beauty and joy that comes from living a full life.

Please join us at Off Broadway Boutique this coming Wednesday, October 2nd for an exquisite evening filled with fantastic fashions and lovely laughs.  Though limited seating is available, we’d love for you to stop by to celebrate the gift of life and love with us.

Off Broadway Boutique’s Invited Guest: Tamron Hall

Hi, everyone!  Over the past few weeks, we at Off Broadway Boutique have been fortunate enough to meet many interesting people.  With our Countess of Glamour, Lynn Dell, making the rounds on television and in magazines, our profile has been rising considerably.  The best part is being able to meet a variety of lovely people who share our appreciation for glamour – such as the lovely Tamron Hall, who’d stopped by this past Saturday to see exactly why we’ve successfully sold style and elegance on the Upper West Side for over 50 years.

Just as beautiful and charming in person as she is onscreen, the NewsNation with Tamron Hall and Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall host immediately fell in love with Off Broadway Boutique’s brand of dramatic flair–from Lynn Dell’s undeniable charisma to the flamboyant Kenneth Jay Lane earrings that she’d ended up purchasing from us. Accompanied with her was her best friend, CEO of image consulting firm, Your Style, Your Image, Sylvia Christian, who looked absolutely fabulous after our fashion stylist extraordinaire, Pat, showed her the sartorial benefits of a gorgeous head wrap.

After trying on our unique fashions and stunning jewelry, both ladies bestowed nothing but praise on our collections–even choosing a few more pieces to splurge on.  Thrilled that they’d chosen to spend a part of their Saturday shopping expedition with Lynn Dell, she immediately extended an invitation to return at their leisure. Promising to do so while thanking us for such a lovely afternoon, Tamron and Sylvia bid us farewell as we mused at how fantastic they looked in the jewelry and fashions that they’d bought from us.

We definitely hope that Tamron had as much of a ball on her birthday yesterday as we did when she shopped at Off Broadway Boutique.

The Countess of Glamour Dishes on New York Fashion

Hi, everyone!  Off Broadway Boutique was represented in fine form yesterday afternoon, as our Countess of Glamour, Lynn Dell, appeared on HuffPost Live’s guest panel to discuss the gorgeous Spring 2014 looks of New York Fashion Week.  Having already been a guest on their style panel a few months ago, she joined stylist and style icon, Alice Carey, in the studio along with savvy hostess with the mostess, Caitlin Becker.  Rounding out the panel via Google Hangout chat was managing editor of Aziza Magazine, Molly Darden, Nancy Hill, who owns Hill Research Services, and Risa Nye, a contributor to Generation Fabulous.

Kicking things off by showcasing the looks that landed on HuffPost Style’s lists of bests, The Countess of Glamour quickly took the reins by expressing her one-of-a-kind opinions on everything from BCBG to the benefits of the color black:

  • On the white crop top look from BCBG – “it’s wonderful for a sexy young gal that’s chosen to show off her midriff, though I wouldn’t buy it for Off Broadway Boutique.”
  • On the cutout long white dress – “Absolutely!  I’d wear it if I were pregnant! It’s great if you have a great bosom and it’d cover your pregnant belly. You’ve got to accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative.”
  • On the black and white herringbone look from Derek Lam– “it’s very chic for someone with a great figure.”
  • On the color black – “One should think of black like a canvas to experiment with – you can never make a mistake with it!”
  • On HuffPost Live’s chosen Marc Jacobs look – “Love it, love it, love it! It’s wonderful, stunning, and timeless!  Anyone of us can wear this!”
  • On Spring 2014 New York Fashion Week – “You’re supposed to look at the runway for fashion inspiration. What makes it exciting is that it’s taking place at Lincoln Center and the occasion has us dressing for the theatre of our lives. Use New York City as your personal red carpet!”
  • On the Advanced Style book’s success – “People have said that they can wear anything and that they can showcase their personality because of Ari’s blog and his book. They can do this and be happy with it.”

By the time the HuffPost Live webcast wrapped, all of the ladies were reluctant for it to end. As they shared their goodbyes, Lynn Dell provided some profound parting words: “Fashion is not just fashion of clothes – it is fashion of living wherever you are!”  Check out this fantastic webcast in full for the unfiltered truth on the looks of New York Fashion Week!
