Given our recent departure to the fabulous world of 1980s fashion, we thought it might be fun to take another journey back in time — to the Roaring Twenties! Obviously, we adore the hedonistic glitz and glamour of that era, and we thought you might too.

Dance the Charleston in this gorgeously fringed and beaded black halter dress.

Slink off to a nightclub in this Mashiah gown inspired by the iconic Delphos gown by Mariano Fortuny.

Hearken back to a more genteel time when ladies sheathed their hands and arms with  silver satin opera gloves.

Military Chic, Parisienne Style

These days, the fashionistas are going gaga over the taciturn blogger, Scott Schuman, otherwise known as the Sartorialist, who took to the streets of New York (and now Paris, London, and Milian) to record the often beautiful, sometimes irreverent, but always interesting outfits of not-so-ordinary people on the street.

One recent photo taken outside of Sophia Kokosalaki’s show at Paris fashion week caught our eye; this young woman has paired her military-inspired green jacket with chic accessories for an au courant look. We love this look especially because it reminds us of one of our own pieces by Ivan Grundhal. Perhaps you would be inspired to try out your own version of this quietly chic outfit!
